It could cost them their jobs. Fed up with constant cuts to programs and services the board created what it calls a "Restoration" Budget. It calls for increased funding to restore vital programs lost to years of cuts. BC's Education Minister say the provincial School Act is very clear and if the board does not balance its budget -- it will be relieved of its duties. George Abbott is confident that come June 30 the budget will be balanced.
