Tyrone Roberts (born 1 June 1991) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Newcastle Knights of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays halfback and five-eighth but can fill in at hooker and fullback.

Playing career [edit]
Born in the Grafton, New South Wales, Roberts played his junior football for the Western Suburbs Rosellas while attending Hunter Sports High. He was then signed by the Newcastle Knights after being spotted playing in the Newcastle Rugby League by Knights coach Rick Stone.[1] He played for the Knights' Toyota Cup team from 2009 to 2011.[2]
In Round 6 of the 2011 NRL season he made his NRL debut for the Knights against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. In May 2012, Roberts re-signed with the Knights for 2 years.[3]
Representative career [edit]
Roberts has played for the NSW Under 15s, Australian Indigenous Under 16s and NSW Indigenous teams. In 2011, after playing 7 first-grade games, he was selected in the Junior Kangaroos squad to play the Junior Kiwis.
