Sylvia Chant BA King's College, Cambridge, PhD University College London is a professor of Developmental Geography at the London School of Economics and Political Science[1][2] and is the Programme Director of the Urbanisation and Development Programme at the LSE's Department of Geography and Environment [3]
She is the editor of The International Handbook of Gender and Poverty : Concepts, Research, Policy, [4] She is also co-author of Geographies of Development in the 21st Century: An Introduction to the Global South,[5] Gender in Latin America,[6] and Three generations, two genders, one world : women and men in a changing century [7]
