Steptoe Battlefield State Park in Whitman County, Washington is one of the Washington State Parks.[1] It consists of 4 acres (1.6 ha) in Rosalia at the site of a running battle (the Battle of Pine Creek) between American soldiers under the command of Lt. Col. Edward Steptoe and a large band of Spokane, Palouse, Coeur d'Alene Native Americans. Activities include wildlife viewing.[2]
