Rajesh Saraiya (Hindi: राजेश सरैया; born 1969) is an industrialist who is one of India's first Dalit millionaire [1]

Past[edit]

Rajesh Saraiya is CEO of the UK-based company Steel Mont, which has a turnover of about $400 million.[2]

He has completed Aeronautical Engineering in Ukraine and later on started a steel company there. [3] He is active in Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries.[4] He received Prawasi Bhartiya award by the President of India in 2012. Rajesh Saraiya has recently been announced Padmashree award in 2014 -- a civilian honour for his contribution to Industry and culture. He, along with his wife Kasturi Saraiya, is instrumental to set up an Indian Cultural center " Sanskriti " in Ukraine. He is first amongst Indians from CIS to receive this honour.
