Pope Matthew II of Alexandria was the Coptic Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark (1453–1466). He is commemorated in the Calendar of Saints of the Coptic Church on the 13th day of Thout.
He was a monk in El-Muharraq monastery His tenure lasted for 13 years.[1]
