Nilus, surnamed Kerameus, was Patriarch of Constantinople between 1380 and 1388.
He was an intellectual and struggled for the faithful maintenance of the ecclesiastical rules. He mediated between John V and his son Andronikos IV Palaiologos.
He wrote many works and during his Patriarchy published many synodical acts.
