Nganzai is a Local Government Area of Borno State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Gajiram.

It has an area of 2,467 km² and a population of 99,799 at the 2006 census.

The postal code of the area is 612.[1]

It is one of the sixteen LGAs that constitute the Borno Emirate, a traditional state located in Borno State, Nigeria.[2]
