Na Aana Is Des Laado was an Indian television series which premiered on March 9, 2009 on Colors. The story deals with the social evil of Female infanticide, and concentrates on the problems faced by women in a male-dominant world. This show is being dubbed in Tamil as Karuthamma and airs Mon–Fri 6:30 pm in Raj TV and also in Telugu as Naadi Adajanme and airs Mon–Fri at 2pm in Maa TV. The show ended on 27 July 2012. The show started in Serbia on RTV Pink on December 17, 2012. The show now airs on Dangal (TV channel) and Rishtey (TV channel).

The story is about a girl Sia, who raises her voice against Ammaji, the sarpanch of Veerpur. The people Veerpur are accused with old religious practices like killing of girl child. Sia takes a stance against Ammaji's atrocities and tries to make people of Veerpur aware about it. To quite Sia down, Ammaji gets her youngest son Raghav married to Sia. Then Sia who was in love with Raghav, finds out it was all a trick and even Raghav was in on that and they make her the servant of the house. She decides to stay at Ammaji's house to get revenge for the insults she suffered and also stop Ammaji's wrongdoings. Slowly, women from Ammaji's house begin to help Sia. Raghav frustrated by all the wrong around him seeks help from Sia and in turn falls in love with her. Then Sonali, Raghav's ex-girlfriend from london comes to Veerpur. Ammaji asks her to marry Raghav. However, on the wedding day, Raghav realises her love for Sia and takes her as his wife. Sia along with Raghav help family members and villagers.

Many incidents start taking places in the house. It is known that Jhumar, who was working as a servant in the house, is the daughter of Sheela and Dharamveer and the sister of Avatar. Dheeraj, who is Ammaji's relative's son, come to Veerpur. Soon Jhumar and Dheeraj starts falling in love. When Ammaji knows this, she comes to kill Jhumar and Dheeraj (she doesn't want them to marry because they are brother and sister). Dheeraj is killed by Ammaji while Jhumar is killed by someone else (Everyone believes that Ammaji has killed her). Santosh tries to run away from the house. She starts living with Chautala and becomes pregnant. Ammaji finds her and takes her back. Then Amba, a daku, comes in the house of Ammaji and controls it over (because she has kidnapped Raghav). It is later revealed that she is the daughter of Ammaji (she was saved by a worker in Ammaji's house). Amba knows about the courage that Sia has and tells Ammaji to let her become the Sapanch (Ammaji doesn't allow her, but she stands against Ammaji herself). Ammaji later accepts her as her daughter. Joginder and Gajender wants to kill her; Ammaji hears this. Ammaji hands Amba to police, Amba thoughts that it was all her plan and still she doesn't love her. Ammaji tells Joginder and Gajinder to leave her in the prison; they agrees. Later the police tells Amba that they are fake and are sent by Ammaji to save her life from her two sons. Amba now believes Ammaji and take her as a very good mother.

Rangeeli who is the second wife of Avatar knows that Chanda (Avatar's first wife; the one he loves) is pregnant (she has had two babies but they were killed because they were girls). She runs away from the house as she thinks that Ammaji will kill her. She succeeds. Ammaji removes Sia and Raghav from her house. Sia stands against Ammaji to be Sarpanch. She forms an army of all the women with the help of her husband, Raghav. When the elections takes place, the women also vote. Sia gets more votes and win leading her to become the sarpanch of the village. She opens a school for women in the village (she tried it earlier also but didn't succeed because of Ammaji). Sia is pregnant and Ammaji calls them back, but Raghav doesn't agree. Later Raghav ans Sia move to their house, as Sia wishes to be with their family. But than Ammaji finds out that Sia is carrying twin daughters and tries to make her drop her babies, but doesn't succeed as each and everytime Raghav stands against Ammaji and saves his wife and daughters. But soon Raghav comes to know the truth about the complications in Sia's pregnancy, which Sia hid it from him. Raghav asked Sia to abort the babies, but Sia insisted as she knows that she cannot be a mother again if she aborted the babies.

Meanwhile Ammaji's old nemesis Bhanupratap comes back to take revenge on her. He was helped by Dharamveer. When Avatar (his son) knows this, he kills him for doing wrong with their family (Avatar is good and always helps everyone in the family). Chanda gives birth to her son. On the day of naamkaran of Chanda's son, Bhanupratap attacks Ammaji's family. He takes away Chanda's son and drops down the baby from the balcony but Raghav catches the baby and safely hands him over to Chanda. The whole family flee leaving Santhosh with Bhanupratap. Soon after they rescue Santhosh but Sia was left away in the hospital(Raghav was unconscious). Raghav after waking up leaves to find Sia and meets her in the forest with Amba. Santosh gives birth to her son. Sia who is with Raghav and Amba delivers the girls, but dies soon after as only the girls or Sia can be survived. Raghav returns back to Ammaji and family with one baby(other baby is with Amba)and informs them about the death of Sia. Soon Raghav dies to save his daughter because of fire caused by Bhanupratap, but the girls survive. After 18 years in Delhi, Sunheri is(wife of Gajender and mother of Aditya) shown to be dead. The two girls separates as Dia is with Ammaji and her family and Jhanvi is with Amba (She was living in a jungle where Sia delivered her babies). Everyone comes to Delhi, including Amba and Jhanvi. Ammaji believed that Amba died and Amba believes that Ammaji and her family died.

When the girls become 18, they meet in college and become friends. Aditya brings Tanisha (her girlfriend from US, who is Indian) to her house to marry her. Ammaji and her sons Gajender and Joginder doesn't want him to marry to Tanisha and tries to make many separations. Aditya, on the wedding day leaves Tanisha and marries another girl, Rangini. Later Amba was also killed while trying to save Dia as a court case was going on Rajveer (Chanda's son) and Dia was the only witness Jhanvi gave the courage to Dia to fight for justice. Before Amba died she told everyone, that Jhanvi is the daughter of Raghav and Sia and that Dia and Jhanvi both are sisters.

After the 'Bhook Hartal' of Jhanvi, Ammaji finally took her into the house as family member. To finish the love between Jhanvi and Dia, Ammaji shows that she loves Jhanvi more and Dia less (however she doesn't love any). Dia and Shaurya loves each other but Dia doesn't approve him when Shaurya proposed him because of Ammaji's fear of killing Shaurya. But then Jhanvi helps them by telling Ammaji and family that Jhanvi loves Shaurya and getting married to him but instead getting Dia married to him. Karan, Santosh and Avatar helps them. Ammaji gets to know this truth and at the wedding day, Dia and Shaurya runs away after getting married. Joginder being angry at Santosh and Karan for helping Dia, tells that Karan is not his son. Karan gets frustrated and leaves the house and meets Tanisha. He was later taken by Santosh and the family. Ammaji sends his men to get Shaurya and Dia killed. They then knows the truth that Shaurya is Bhanupratap's son. Bhanupratap shows as if he likes Dia and accepts her as his Bahu (he actually doesn't agree with it). Bhanupratap kidnaps Ammaji and keep her in his house. That's when Jhanvi meets Anjali, a look alike of Ammaji. She tells her to play as Ammaji, she agrees. Later, Joginder and Gajender also teams up with Bhanupratap and his sister Bajri. Everybody is confused about who is the real Ammaji. Jhanvi tells Dia to search in her house whether Ammaji is there or not. Dia searches in the house, she sees a room and opens it. Ammaji was kept there but Bhanupratap changed the place of keeping her. Dia finds clues of Ammaji being here. Bhanupratap starts taking interest in Jhanvi. Jhanvi comes to a place where she believes Ammaji is kept (she is actually there), Bhanupratap comes there and tells Jhanvi that he loves her. Jhanvi is frustrated by hearing this (they have a huge age difference). Ammaji frees herself and comes to Jhanvi. Ammaji then kills Bhanupratap leading Shaurya to leave Dia as he believes that the marriage was all her plan to get revenge from Bhanupratap. Everybody now knows that Anjali is not the real Ammaji and Joginder and Gajender sents her jail. Anjali tells Jhanvi to take care of her daughter, Mausam. Later Ammaji is betrayed by Joginder and Gajender. Ammaji with her leftover family comes to Veerpur (Ammaji has lost all her courage and to retrieve her, Santosh tells to come to Veerpur). Karan takes Tanisha with her who was pregnant with Aditya's baby.

When they come to Veerpur, they get to know that Rana Rantej is ruling their land and the rule of killing baby girls is still going. Ammaji, betrayed by her sons, is still in shock and keeps quiet but in order to save Tanisha's baby girl from Rana Rantej, she retrieves. Karan takes Tanisha as his wife but is arrested in a false case placed by Rana Rantej. Rana tells Jhanvi to marry her son in order to save Mausam (daughter of Anjali; look alike of Ammaji) whom he has kidnapped from the Mandir. On her wedding, she becomes unconscious (due to a plan of Rana Rantej) and was married to all of Rana's sons. But Jhanvi takes only Surya as her husband because she was married to him when she was conscious. They start falling in love with each other but Param tries to make difference between them by his tricks. When Surya knows that Param was playing tricks on him, he starts loving Jhanvi more and accepts her as his wife.

Meanwhile Dia was playing as Pandit (on whose house they were living)'s nephew who was dumb from his birth. Inspector Vikram gets to know the truth and started falling in love with Dia. Ammaji started getting respect as she helped Kishanlal and his wife to deliver a baby girl but his wife gets killed with one of Rana Rantej's plan. Rana Rantej tells that it is Santosh that has killed her although no one believes him. Santosh says that Rana has done this. In order to take revenge, he sends a person as a baba. His truth comes out in front of everyone in village because of Ammaji.

Chautala (father of Karan) comes to Veerpur. Ammaji tells him to marry Santosh. After Karan insisting his mother to marry Santosh agrees. But Joginder (Ammaji's son) come and kidnaps Santosh to kill her as she is marrying another man. As a result, Ammaji has to kill his own son to save her daughter-in-law for doing justice. Santosh then marries Chautala.

Aditya and Ragini (along with Durga; Tanisha and Aditya's daughter) comes to the mandir where Ammaji and her family is living. They tells that their plan of taking revenge from Ammaji's sons who betrayed her is fulfilled and their family can come back to Delhi. But Ammaji rejects because she want to help Veerpur's people to get out of their bad conditions and old religions (of killing girls). Ragini doesn't feel good because she is now living with Tanisha, whose and Aditya's daughter is Durga.

Rana then pollutes all the land and water in Veerpur. Then the villagers in the village start falling sick. Ammaji and her family start taking care of all villagers in the Mandir with the help of Pandit and a village doctor.

Jhanvi then returns to the Mandir where Ammaji and her family was living. Jhanvi tells everything to Ammaji about Rana' misdeeds. Rana tries to kill Jhanvi and in the bargain losses his own life. Param swears to the soul of his father that he will take revenge to the ones who did this.

later, the haveli is occupied by ammajis family and the rest of the family members are taken as their own family . Ammaji gets into politics because of one of the cruel politicians and his son .
