Mukkoottuthara is a village located in Kottayam district of Kerala State, India. Sabarimala is only 48 kilometers from Erumely, while travelling through Mukkoottuthara. Sree krishana swami temple here is an icon of religions harmony.The temple is situated inside the rubber plantation and few meter's away from the town.
