Jinja Airport (IATA: JIN, ICAO: HUJI) is an airport in Uganda. It is one of the forty-six (46) airports in the country.[1]

Jinja Airport is located in eastern Uganda, approximately 94 kilometres (58 mi), by air, east of Entebbe International Airport, the country’s largest civilian and military airport.[2]

Jinja Airport is situated 1,180 metres (3,870 ft) above sea level. The airport has a single paved runway, measuring 4,300 feet (1,300 m). Jinja Airport sits adjacent to the Uganda Senior Command and Staff College of the Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF), at Kimaka, a suburb of Jinja.
