The statistics for Islam in Uruguay estimate a total Muslim population of 300 to 400, representing 0.01 percent of the population.[1] There are two Islamic centers, in Montevideo:
1) Egyptian Cultural Islamic Center.
2) Center for the Practice and Propagation of Islam, situated at Yi 1586 casi Cerro Largo. 3) Fraternidad Islámica del Uruguay
