The Fox River Mall is a super regional shopping center of 1,210,000 square feet (112,000 m2), located on approximately 137 acres (0.55 km2) of land. It is the largest shopping mall in northeast Wisconsin and second largest in the state, with over 180 stores. It is anchored by JCPenney, Sears, Macy's, Younkers, Scheels All Sports and Target. It also has a large food court called the Northwoods Café which includes more than a dozen counter vendors such as, Charley's Grilled Subs, Cold Stone, McDonald's, Panda Express, Rocky Roccoco, Subway, and Taco Johns as well as the local Fratello's restaurant. There is a strip mall on the premises called Fox River Plaza. Pedestrian entrances to the mall are through three main entrances, as well as all six major department stores. An elevator near the food court services the mezzanine. In addition, Macy's and Scheel's both have escalators and elevators to serve their second levels.
The default shopping hours for the mall are:
- Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
The hours of the mall vary over the holiday season. On Black Friday the mall opens at 5:00 am and is open until 10:00 pm. The mall is also open until 10:00pm the week before Christmas. The mall is only open until 6:00pm on Christmas Eve and is closed on Christmas Day.
