Faridabad-Noida-Ghaziabad Expressay or FNG Expressway is under construction road. As per original plan and thus the name, the road was to connect town of Faridabad in Haryana with Noida and Ghaziabad towns of Uttar Pradesh. The original plan also entailed a bridge over river Yamuna connecting Faridabad with Noida.

As per reports, Haryana Government is not interested in completing its part of the project but despite that Uttar Pradesh Government is going ahead with completing the its part of the road. Thus many are questioning why its still being referred as FNG Expressway when its not connecting Faridabad at all. Despite that most real estate developers in NCR are selling property in the name of FNG expressway. It is strange why concerned government departments are not making it a point to clear the air, raise a voice or take any action. Real estate projects are being sold at a premium price for their proximity to FNG road. [1]

Project updates[edit]

  • January, 2014: NOIDA Authority has finally taken the decision to complete the project partially, in the area lying under its jurisdiction. [2]
  • September 2014: Work is under progress on Uttar Pradesh part of the upcoming expressway.[3] [4]
