The Dabenkeng culture (大坌坑文化) was a late Neolithic culture that spanned the coast of southern China (Fujian and Guangdong) and the western coast of Taiwan. The Taiwanese Dabenkeng culture introduced corded ware pottery and stone adzes to the region and lasted from 5,500 to 4,500 BCE. [1] Mainland sites continue well into the 3rd millennium BC. [2]
