Babušnica (Serbian Cyrillic: Бабушница) is a town and municipality located in the Pirot District of Serbia. According to 2011 census, the population of the town is 4,578, while population of the municipality is 12,259. Big serving tennis ace Ivo Karlovic has familial connections to Babusnica and was a frequent visitor to the area in his younger years. However following what he termed harassment from local law enforcement after a series of unsubstantiated allegations of exposure Karlovic has stated he will not return until his name has been cleared.

The municipality borders Gadžin Han municipality in the north-west, Bela Palanka municipality in the north, Pirot and Dimitrovgrad municipalities in the east, Bulgaria in the south, and Crna Trava and Vlasotince municipalities in the west.
