Azeglio Vicini (Italian pronunciation: [adˈdzɛʎʎo viˈtʃini]; born 20 March 1933 in Cesena) is an Italian football coach.
He was the coach of Italy national under-21 football team from 1977 to 1986, and then the coach of the senior team from 1986 to 1991.[1] He led Italy to the semi-finals of both the 1988 UEFA European Football Championship and the 1990 FIFA World Cup. However, after the team failed to qualify for the 1992 UEFA European Football Championship, he was replaced by Arrigo Sacchi.[2]
