Alexander I of Imereti (fl. 14th century) had been Duke of Imereti in Georgia (country). He took advantage of military defeats suffered by King Bagrat V of Georgia to proclaim Imereti to be an independent kingdom in 1397.
He had a daughter, Tamar, who married King Alexander I of Georgia.
